Dedicated UL/FM gate valves
We are happy to introduce our dedicated UL & FM gate valves for fire protection applications. 30-01-2021
AVK dedicated UL & FM gate valves are designed specifically to fulfill the requirements in the UL 262 and FM 1120/1130 standards. They are available as OS&Y (Outside Screw and Yoke, with rising stem and handwheel) and NRS (Non-Rising Stem, with wrench nut) variants.
The NRS valves are suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications, while the OS&Y rising stem valves are typically used for above-ground indoor applications, since it is easy to recognise their wedge position, even at a distance. The yoke on the OS&Y valve is prepared for easy installation of a fixed monitoring switch.
The new, dedicated UL & FM gate valves are available in DN65-200 in the following variants. Please refer to the datasheets for more details.
